We were engaged by TAP Global to provide corporate finance services and to develop a strategy to identify and originate investment into the TAP Global group. Subsequently TAP Global entered into an option agreement and £1.5m convertible loan note instrument with Quetzal Capital Plc (an Aquis listed special purpose acquisition company) in December 2021.
We assisted TAP Global in the negotiation of the various documents alongside English and Gibraltarian counsel, providing ongoing assistance in the satisfaction of due diligence, formulating a clear business strategy with regards to the utilisation of the proposed investment and the finalisation of the documents.
